Terms of Service

What this is

PassPhysics is a free, independent study tool for algebra-based and calculus-based introductory physics, including AP Physics 1-style content. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Not affiliated with the College Board

"AP" and "AP Physics 1" are trademarks of the College Board, which was not involved in producing this Service and does not endorse it. References to AP Physics 1 here are descriptive — they tell you what the content covers — not a claim of affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

Content accuracy

The lessons, practice questions, worked examples, and free-response materials on this Service are provided as a study aid, not as official curriculum. Some content was developed with AI assistance and checked for mathematical and factual accuracy as part of that process, but it may still contain errors, and it is not a substitute for your teacher, your official course materials, or the College Board's own published exam information. Free-response scoring is self-reported by you against a rubric shown on screen — it's a study aid, not an official or verified score, and shouldn't be treated as a prediction of your real exam result.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Give us an email address you actually control, since it's how we'd reach you about account issues like a password reset. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that does to your data.

Acceptable use

Please don't: attempt to bypass or overload the Service's systems, scrape or republish the content in bulk, use the Service to harass anyone, or try to access another user's account. We can suspend or terminate access for behavior like this.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. It's a hobby-scale study tool, run without a dedicated support team.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this Service is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it — including exam results, study time, or any decision made in reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or other protections that can't be waived under your local consumer law).

Changes

The Service and these terms may change over time. If a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where practical, note it in the app.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or terminate an account for violating the acceptable-use section above, or discontinue the Service entirely — if we do the latter, we'll try to give reasonable notice.
